UPPER NYACK, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–CreakyJoints® today announces it will present the Spring/Summer 2018 Tumbler and Tipsy by Michael Kuluva collection at the KIA 360 New York Fashion Week. A member of CreakyJoints, last year the Los Angeles-based designer revealed for the first time his seven years of living with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Despite managing an often painful and tiring chronic condition, Michael continues to pursue his dreams and career by designing youthful, colorful, and arthritis-friendly clothes. This year’s collection has a decidedly “throwback Thursday” feel, paying homage to “Troop Beverly Hills” and playing with patches and fun camouflage patterns, some upcycled from retired military uniforms.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to continue my partnership with CreakyJoints because the organization is a positive place for people like me who are seeking community, support, education and opportunities to participate in research,” said Michael Kuluva, designer of Tumbler and Tipsy. “Like always, I want my collection to make people smile, have fun with their fashion, and inspire them to dream big. I don’t let my RA define me or restrict me. I can’t wait to present my show, which will feature some of the hottest faces from reality TV alongside top models.”

The Tumbler and Tipsy by Michael Kuluva runway show will take place at 3:00 p.m. on September 13, 2017 at KIA STYLE360 “Met West” 639 W 46th Street New York, NY.

“Michael Kuluva is a fantastic example of how a person living with arthritis should not set limits on their ambition simply because they are also managing a chronic disease,” said Seth Ginsberg, President and Co-founder of CreakyJoints. “Michael’s show is a celebration of looking and feeling good on the inside and outside. We’re excited to once again support the Tumbler and Tipsy runway show and Michael as his journey continues.”

This Tumbler and Tipsy Spring/Summer 2018 New York Fashion Week runway show is proudly presented by CreakyJoints, Hunter Brookes and Bloke NYC.
