At the 2018 annual meeting of the American College of Rheumatology, CreakyJoints had the opportunity to speak with Sacramento-based rheumatologist Doug Roberts, MD, an assistant clinical professor and founder of PainSpot. Dr. Roberts has been practicing rheumatology for nearly 30 years and has seen a huge transformation in the ways people with rheumatoid arthritis and diagnosed and treated. This has helped minimize stigma and misunderstanding about RA, but more awareness is still needed. Here’s what we learned about managing RA from our chat.
