Kelly is from Rockton, IL and has suffered with RA most of her life, not being diagnosed until she was 23. She has now had RA for over a decade and was diagnosed with OA last year. She has two pre-teen boys, also diagnosed with forms of JA. She recently completed her Masters in Public Health in addition to a certificate in Global Health from University of Washington. She is involved extensively with both the Arthritis Foundation & American College of Rheumatology and sits as a patient advocate on a Musculoskeletal Committee for the National Quality Forum. In her free time, she loves to volunteer, read, bake, and travel.
