Raging flames
To fading fizzles,
There is agony with this disease.
Emotions run higher,
Adding fuel to the fire,
Like kindling to these knees.

It festers faster
In this joint disaster,
Unless I can remain calm and breathe.
Many things go rotten,
When breathing is forgotten,
A distraction is what I need.

Rain comes along,
With wind way too strong,
And everything’s out of control.
Mother nature takes over,
And destroys my umbrella,
And laughter fills my soul.

Today I am real,
I look like I feel.
I’m a mess from head to toe.
