Other people do not realize,
When bringing trauma into our lives
That our bodies have been hacked,
And the RA doesn’t know how to react.

We wouldn’t have it any other way,
We carry that burden every day.
That trauma will cause us a loving flare,
When we want to fix it, because we care.

We become a bundle of stress induced inflammation,
But we will hide that little tidbit of information.
You may never see that we can barely move,
And you’ll never know when we’re flaring for you.
