Avoiding stuff because of RA,
Is a little hermit game that I play.
Here’s a partial list of where I steer clear,
Or I’ll be stranded in some painful gear.
High stress, PMS,
Sweet treats, red meats,
Overdoing gluten or dairy food,
Being ‘that person’ in a crabby mood,
And not budging when I need to move.
Forgetting my pills,
Wearing high heels,
Forgetting to laugh,
and getting stuck in the bath.
Other people with coughs or runny nose,
Or getting caught crying when nobody knows.
Avoiding these things won’t fix my RA,
But they will make it a much brighter day.
