I can not walk without pain,
For months it has been the same.
But if I don’t do that daily stroll,
That snowball thing starts to roll.

It’s pain if I do,
and pain if I don’t.
Depression closes in,
and I’ll lose hope.

So I’ll take that daily pain,
even when it hurts to roam.
And when I’m no longer sane,
I’ll be asking ‘where is home?’

Then I’ll be…   well…     lost.
