Sometimes I get angry and confused,
When others are out with the full blown flu.
Feverish people who cough and wheeze,
I panic from my head to my swollen knees.
I don’t need this extra stress,
Of something that hasn’t hit me yet.
With no immune system for me to turn on,
It’s not like I can buy ‘that’ on amazon.
I’m a phomagerbic to the core,
One person’s fever I can’t ignore.
It’s not that I don’t have any sympathy,
Let me enjoy my
‘stay home when you’re sick’ tranquillity!
