She pukes in the bed,
She pukes in the hall,
Doesn’t make it to the bathroom
So she pukes on the wall.
She takes her methotrexate
On Friday night with care,
Then come Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
She’s puking everywhere.

Next week this won’t happen.
She’ll be used to this.
But she thinks that every week,
As she’s cleaning up puke mess.
She covers her skin in lotion,
To change the smell stuck up her nose.
And might as well wear that bucket,
So puke won’t hit her clothes.
