Grocery shopping is not my cup of tea,
Through fog I stare at items aimlessly.
Will this lid torture my hands?
Will the tab really open this can?
I look at my fingers, then back at the shelf.
Shopping should be done by somebody else.
Will this handle squeeze with ease?
Can’t you make it softer please?
Shampoo bottles I can’t squirt,
Squeezing tooth paste even hurts.
Some food containers I can’t budge.
It’s suicide lifting a gallon jug.
I don’t always buy the things I need.
Because I know I can’t open the packaging!
By the time my journey ends,
It feels like I’ve lifted weights at the gym.
