The medicine just can’t fix this mess, But I still take my enbrel and my MTX. They work like a dam against the flood, To hold back the rapids of my blood.

This rheumatoid arthritis grows with force, While the remedy tries to hold its shores. There is a row boat in my dreams, To help me paddle against the stream.

The current from this disease is too strong, And I’m so tired from swimming this long. I’m not looking for any advice…. Just toss me that floatation device!
