Both systemic lupus erythematosus and/or antiphospholipid syndrome largely affect women of childbearing age. The European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) has published comprehensive guidance on reproductive health and family planning for women with systemic lupus erythematosus and/or antiphospholipid syndrome. The guidelines represent a mindset shift among health providers, from cautioning women with these diseases against pregnancy to embracing pregnancy.
