This was a rough weekend for the ankles. Don’t ask why. It seemed like every step I took was a bad one. I wonder if it’s from all of the treadmilling I’ve been doing lately – 30 minutes of a brisk up-hill walk (since running is totally out of the question) – or if has anything to do with my shoes. But if that were the case, why would they hurt this weekend and not anytime before (or today, for that matter)?

And such is life with Spondyloarthropathy – a cousin of the Anklyosing Spondylitis family of diseases. One day it works. The next day it hurts. And the third day, neither.
