The pain in my foot, which turned into a pain in my butt, has returned to a pain in the foot (and hasn’t gone away). The only difference between then and now is that we changed our health insurance company, so I needed to find another (in-network) doctor to treat me. Not such an easy task. When navigating a new insurance company, my advice is to get a pencil, sharpen it, and shove it in your eyeball. But I think we’re back on track, except for the annoyance of ‘starting over’ with another doctor. Though the more this pain drags on, the more of a chronic condition it becomes (which started as an acute injury). Acute? Nothing acute about this. If all goes well, I think I’ll get a new bookcase this weekend. Which, I know, has nothing to do with foot pain. But really, how much can one dwell on something so annoying??
