Act NOW to Save AHRQ‬

On Wednesday, June 17, 2015 a Congressional committee voted to eliminate funding for the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ), the only federal agency dedicated to patient-centered research.

CreakyJoints strongly opposes what this committee did – formally known as #LHHS16.

The LHHS Appropriations bill provides funding for all of the public health programs and medical research funded by the government. On Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 10:15 AM, the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee will vote on the 2016 spending bill which will eliminate an agency that funds research to improve medical care. Please tweet at the Committee members to ask them to vote NO on this legislation.
