Resource: Free Internet Service (Wi-Fi) and Computer Devices for Eligible Gout Patients

Keeping your health in check during a pandemic doesn’t have to be a risk. If you have been diagnosed with gout and are from a low-income household (in the U.S. or Puerto Rico) and in need of telehealth services, you could be eligible for a FREE computer that includes a hotspot with 12 months of internet service (Wi-Fi).

Prioritizing health and safety is a vital part of our mission. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact communities, there is an increased emphasis on using the internet to see a doctor or nurse instead of going to an in-person appointment. To help meet this demand, we’ve partnered with PCs for People, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing low-cost technology and internet to communities in need. Eligible individuals can receive a FREE computer and internet hotspot (Wi-Fi) with 12 months of service, ensuring access to a safe and convenient way to visit the doctor.

To find out if you’re eligible, please complete our short questionnaire or contact us at +1 (800) 610-2518.

Here’s How It Works:

First, you’ll be asked to complete our short questionnaire to confirm that you qualify. If you are eligible, you will be contacted by a member of our team with further details. If you are eligible, you will be contacted by a member of the CreakyJoints team with further details. If you know of family or friends who have been diagnosed with gout and may be eligible, you may fill out the form on their behalf.

Income Guidelines for Eligibility for PCs for People

Why is this important for gout patients?

  • Health & Safety – staying safe indoors and still visiting your doctor to keep up with your care prioritizes health AND safety.
  • Accessibility – low-income households gain access to technology that has become a necessity over the past year.
  • Convenience – removing the worry of transportation and travel time saves money, time, and eliminates a common stressor for many vulnerable communities. Making doctor visits convenient increases the incentive to stay healthy.
